Hundreds of millions of dollars are being invested in carbon offsets by companies who wish to mitigate transport options but find themselves with limited green transport options in today’s market.
In a new piece in Nature Sustainability, SSC’s Suzanne Greene and Cristiano Façanha from Calstart argue there is a way to leverage investment in carbon offsets to advance the decarbonization in the freight transport sector.
